Dolce Apartments Albano

The host - Ilenia was so accommodating and hospitable. She even offered us a lift to carry our luggage from train station up to the place - was an ease considering home's location which is in highland place of Albano :) Ilenia's place is so homey and comfortable - it has everything you need in a home.

no elevator - but will not be a problem if you will not carry heavy luggage like we do.

Great experience. Everything as described. Easy check-in/check-out. Attention to little details, well equipped kitchen, garage is a huge bonus.

Fantastic place

Large, modern, well equipped apartment. Ideally located near the bus stop for Campino Airport and several mini supermarkets nearby. Nice and quiet in the evenings. I didn’t get to meet the host in person but they were very friendly and helpful via WhatsApp, especially as my flight was delayed and I arrived late.

The bathroom drains were smelly at times.

Excellent large apartment freshly renovated and fully furnished, ideal for a couple, but big enough for three. Kitchen is equipped with everything you ever need, even the microwave which is rare in Italy. Large balcony. Clean, well lighted house entrance. Quiet neighborhood. Supermarkets nearby. The hostess, Ilenia, was very friendly and quickly answered all our inquiries. A comfortable train with scenic lake views departs from the station hourly at midday, with more frequent service in the early morning.

Road from the railway station include climbing some stairs. If you want to go by a safe sidewalk and not dodging the passing car take a longer route turning to the right on the main city road (see the photo). Getting the keys contactless way was a bit of a quest - better clarify it with hosts beforehand. Going to Rome could take about an hour either by train or bus+metro. Bus terminal at Rome Anagnina metro is not the most comfortable location.
