The Botanist Guesthouse

The balcony view, cleanliness and the hospitality. A complementary wine was given to us upon arrival.

If u don't have a car, going up and down all those stairs to get to the main city will be quite tiresome, although very scenic and beautiful.

Gorgeous place with amazing views of the port. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. The hosts had thought of everything you might need to make your stay perfect including a basket of toiletries just in case. On arrival they gave us some delicious home grown tomatoes, sourdough and cheese - divine. Vangelis kindly gave us a lift to the port when we were leaving.

We were very pleasantly surprised by the Botanist. It is a lovely small guesthouse with 3 rooms. The rooms are very nicely designed in a simple, minimalist but very tasteful style. The rooms have a small kitchenette with a fridge and coffee maker and a small balcony. Since the Botanist is located on the top of a hill, we had a lovely view of the harbor of Skopelos. The hosts live downstairs and are extremely welcoming and they do everything to make sure their guests feel at home. We were welcomed with a bottle of Greek wine and the hosts were always happy to give tipps and advise on what to do and see. They even offered to drive us down to the ferry with our luggage on the day of our departure. We will surely come back the Botanist again.

The only thing to note is that the Botanist is on the top of the hill, so if you are traveling with a lot of luggage, it may be better to take a taxi from the ferry. The hosts are also always happy to drive their guests, so maybe just ask ;-). The reward is a beautiful view.

Everything was excellent. The room was spotless, featuring a comfortable bed and a modern bathroom with a spacious shower tray, which stands out compared to other nearby accommodations. The view of the city and the port from a high vantage point was stunning. The host was exceptionally kind, friendly, and helpful.

Just be aware that there are quite a few stairs to climb before you arrive, but the view is definitely worth it

Vangelis and his wife were very nice and warmhearted hosts. I totally recommend to stay at the botanist.

The property has been recently refurbished to a very high standard and the views from the balcony are stunning. The proprietor is also extremely helpful and will go out of his way to make your stay enjoyable.

Very high grade design, location is up the hill with breathtaking view of the port, the hosts are polite and assist to useful info about the place, peaceful and romantic!

The location, the quiet surrounding, easy going!

The owners were very welcoming and provided useful tips for the island. The room had everything you may need as well as a great view from the balcony.
