Stonehouse dome Lagadia

The house was already hot when we arrived because the temperature is remotely set by the owner. Very nice and cosy place, ideal for 2 couples or a family with 2 kids. Hot water was available instantly.

We would prefer to be able to adjust the temperarture ourselves, the house was too hot during sleep. Since we were 2 couples, we had to fight on who would sleep on the double bed. There was no TV in any room.

the property was located in a nice area with amazing view. Was super clean and animal friendly!

The owners are very helpful, we've got à detailed explications about the house, parking place etc. The village is charming. The traditional family house is fully equipped (there was everything you need for cooking) and well decorated. There were also salt, pepper, coffee, and even some cookies for us. And it was really great to be able to use the chimney!

Up to us the house was a bit overheated, but better hot then cold. The bed and pillows ate not comfortable, we could not sleep well, but it is personal opinion.

The Stonehouse has a traditional look with a lovely fireplace if you are travelling during the cold months. One can enjoy the serenity, and tranquility of the area. It's situated high up on a heel, looking down the lovely village of Langadia. If you are without a car, be prepared for a steep climbing. Bonus the nearby Tholos restaurant, were you can have Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner made with care by Mrs Maria.

As I was travelling on the mountains without internet, I didn't receive message delivered by our landlord a day prior our arrival that I should collect key using a code from a safe key outside the door. Furthermore there was no reply on the phone I was given on confirmation. In fact owners phone is a different one so they should correct it on booking. With the help of Mrs Maria from the restaurant, we managed to get in touch with the owner and finally everything was sorted out. The central heating is operated by the landlord through wifi which is not convenient if you wish to switch on/off or regulate the temperature, you will need to call the landlord and ask. 2nd bedroom has no window which should be made known on booking. As I'm claustrophobic I had to sleep on the couch in the living room.

Amazing stay, nice authentic family house in the village the house is nice and warm, the kitchen is fully equipped, all you might need is there, wifi was working on issues, the house ouner was extremely helpful.
