Pranavam Beach Homestay

Great little place. Right next to the beach but off a quiet side street so no noise. Really friendly family. Would definitely stay again.

The family are absolutely wonderful, oh so kind and just superb hosts. The room was very clean, with the added bonus of having the adjoining kitchen (kettle/ fridge) and dining area to use also. The breakfast was extremely tasty, with fresh fruits, eggs, toast with jam and butter, as well as some traditional Indian dishes to try! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great location too, super close to the beach as well as a few tasty restaurants. The local bus stop at the end of the road will also take you directly to Marari Beach, a MUCH nicer beach, for just 35p in under 25 minutes!

Nothing to do with the property, but Alleppey Beach is filthy, not recommended for swimming or even paddling.

Nice clean spacious property. Came with a kitchen and living room. Kitchen had a kettle with plenty of tea and coffee and a nice big fridge. Free shampoo soap and toothpaste with was a really nice bonus. The family were very helpful and welcoming. On the day I arrived there was a big Religious festival and the family brought me along to experience it and also to taste all the delicious food. In the afternoon they organised a backwater boat trip which was so relaxing and that evening I joined them for dinner to celebrate their daughters birthday. They also advised me on where to shop for a saree and where to get a tattoo and I was very happy with both. You can walk to the beach and also to the Alleppey Lighthouse from the accommodation

Excellent value for money, room was spacious and super clean, hosts were very friendly and accomodating. We would stay again!

This is such a wonderful homestay, we felt so comfortable here and extended our stay because of this. The family are really helpful and can help you book boat trips and other excursions in the area. The breakfast made by the girls is really tasty and it was nice to have an authentic Indian breakfast each morning. Location is perfect, close to the beach and near lots of different restaraunts/cafe/local shops. Highly recommend staying here you won’t regret it - great value for money!
