Casa Caracol Guanajuato

The room is smaller than it looks in the photos but it is clean and comfortable for two people. The host works on the ground floor and she is super friendly and let us use the small kitchen off the lobby. Location is central and room is good value. I would remove one of the two wardrobes and put hooks in bathroom for towels. The staircase is tight, the bathroom is small. The room was warm and there is a fan. Air con would be more comfortable.

The toilet was inoperable. The beds and pillows were about as uncomfortable as possible.

Perfect spot great hotel

The room was clean and comfortable and it had a fridge . I was lucky to get the higher level rooms as it had windows above the building next door that was only a meter away. Close to town centre.

The alleyway leading up to it was a bit claustrophobic. Buildings are extremely close together. There are no common spaces, lobby or courtyards. It can be hot in the room at night as there is no cross breeze.

We had to barter with them to try to get the room because they said that they only accept two nights days. If they only accept two nights days that should come up when I make the booking in booking.com. The key situation is a little difficult to figure out. As there are four different locks before you get to the room the key is in the locks should all be color-coded. They could put different color of epoxy paint on each key and then put it on the lawn and it would be easy to figure out that way

Great location. Very clean and comfortable. The host accommodated my late arrival (after 9pm).

Calling the place an aparthotel (in the description). Is a bit of a misnomer. There is a modern refrigerator, microwave and kitchen sink. That's it. No cooking pots and pans, no plates, and no cutlery. And, the sliding door (room 3) was very stiff to move.

Everything was perfect an it's only like a 4 minute walk to starbucks am all the interesting parts of Guanajuato.
