Hunyadi Panzió-Apartman

Very well located, a few minutes walk from the center and the spa. The staff are very friendly, although not all speak English, so at times we had to use the hand-waving method to communicate :) The apartment is nice, 2 rooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, dining area, large balcony, we really liked it. We could park the car in the yard, which was great. They have a nice garden, and the location is very quiet. We had breakfast there once, it was ok but nothing spectacular, so we skipped it for the rest of the trip. We got a 10% discount for the baths, which was also great. Wifi worked very well.

Cleanliness was so-so, overall it felt dusty and there were massive spiderwebs in the corners of the rooms, around the beds, in the bathroom. We didn't go looking for them, they were very obvious. If proper cleaning is done, it's impossible not to see them. The kitchen hood looked a bit terrible, with hanging wires and looking very sticky, not sure if usable, we did not try. The shower in the small bathroom was clogged, even a very quick shower would accumulate a lot of water. The face towel provided looked overused and torn, I would have preferred white towels instead of the colored ones. Only hand soap provided, so you'll need to bring your own toiletries. It would have also been nice to have a larger knife in the kitchen, kitchen towel. In the twin room, a bed lamp would have been great, not to have to walk all the way to the door to turn on/off the light. The downside of the lovely garden with terrace and barbecue was that some guests can be very noisy until late at night, like it happened when we were there, so we didn't get much sleep the first night. This is not the fault of the property, but unpleasant nevertheless because we all want to enjoy our trip (either barbecuing or sleeping).

I came here for third time and it was very disappointing. They didn't clean room at all. Even on the balcony there was an ashtray full of cigarettes. Toilet was dirty.

The location is amazing, very close to Hagymatikum and the city centre. Staff was very kind, the breakfast was very delicious, the rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable! There's a small backyard, where the kids can play and a lot more. Side note: there's also a very cute cat that enjoyed being around people! We are definitely coming back here!
