Nelio was a fantastic host and taught us all about life on the islands and the community. He gave us a lot of attention and took us to a typical island, out fishing, and to a floating restaurant a few times. The experience was amazing, the scenery beautiful and peaceful, and his bungalows are very comfortable and have everything that you need. Breakfast and dinner were delicious.

Only USB ports are available for charging, so don't plan on standard electricity. Also bring your own powdered milk if you like cream with your coffee

if you want to have an experience of a lifetime this is hard to beat. Nelio and his family were such delightful hosts. He will take you by boat to your holiday lodge in a reed island with about 8 other lodges. The views are amazing as is the tranquility. He took us out on a traditional boat and we also hired a kayak to explore the lake on our own. Nelio was always on hand to help. Embrace the quiet.

Nothing, but remember: there is no mains electricity, just 12v to charge devices. There is no WiFi, but there is 4G. Bring warm clothes for the evenings as it gets cold on the water.

Nelio and his family were really welcoming and made us feel at home. Nelio's wife made great meals for us, and he showed us around the islands. The accommodation is in a beautiful setting. Sleeping on a little island and gazing up at the starry night sky is an incredible experience.
