Baltistan Resort Skardu

The room had no heating and it took a long time for the hot water to flow. I washed in the cold with cold water because I did not want to waste the cold water: we were told to let the cold water flow through the pipes. The hotel staff were however absolutely brilliant. They gave us extra quilts and blankets and warmed our hot water bottles daily with a smile. The breakfast was very nice. The electricity situation was also poor as was the WiFi net connectivity. Again the staff were amazing and I may just go back because of how decent the staff were. But for almost 15000 rupees (£40 or $50) it was way below what Avari Express are offering for the same price. I wish I had checked with Avari first. The maximum this hotel should have been is 5000 per night.
