TESHIKAGA HOSTEL MISATO

Warm welcome from pleasant and helpful staff; large community kitchen and seating area; large rooms; local information; bikes to rent; fabulous wooden floor; extensive laundry facilities; lovely touches on display; spotlessly clean; comfortable spacious beds and classy bedding; lots of hot water and cozily warm building.

Thankfully we had a car to access its edge-of-town location.

You can rent a bicykle, but car is only for people from Japan. Staff is really friendly and kind.

Decent sized room. Very clean. Welcoming staff and good facilities. They had a shared kitchen which was a nice addition (although we didn’t use it)

They probably need to redo the shared bathroom. The whole place is great but the bathroom feels a bit abandoned.

Very friendly staff members who were trying just everything to make my stay as comfortable as possible. They even offer a car and bike rental service.

Not much… The location was a bit far away from the train station.

The Guest House was very well organised and clean, a spacious well equipped kitchen/ dining, a good location being close to Lake Mashu which is amazing and the road out to Ashoro. The welcoming staff at reception was very helpful.

The room was very hot when we arrived, no aircon and a little small for two, it did eventually cool down overnight with the fan/ cooler.

pretty loud! We came with a baby and had the room next to the toilets! it was super loud :( and pretty expensive for what it actually was..
