Greenleaf Berawa Villas

We were excited about Greenleaf Berawa Villas' loft-style design and the benefit of its central location in Canggu. The name of the property was very promising.

The stay was highly disappointing. The property is surrounded by active construction (literally in front of the door), making it very noisy and unacceptable. Despite reaching out to the management team multiple times, we received no response, leaving us unsupported. We had to leave and would advise others to confirm the surroundings and management's reliability before booking.

Needs maintenance eg the pool ladder, the front door (we were told after coming home and finding the door unlocked that it occasionally unlocks itself?). No TV as advertised just a projection box that must have fallen out of a Weeties packet. Got a grubby feel and the mosquitoes have the whole place under siege. Won’t even mention the noise from workmen at the adjoining properties that often went to 10 pm. No security bond was asked for - guess they felt too embarrassed to ask for one. Must be lots of better villas in better locations around.

Location and aesthetic were great. Staff were friendly. Looked amazing in pictures we took Bed was large and comfortable.

Both showers did not work properly. Possible build up of scale meant the rain shower heads overflowed through joinery. Could use the internal shower but only through the hand held option. Down stairs air conditioner leaked constantly so bucket was used to avoid mass water build up. Up stairs air conditioner only leaked with rain but onto the bed head. Very minor repairs needed.

Great location and a nice design for the villa

I had to ask for the bathroom to be cleaned. It’s not the properties fault but there’s construction going on right next door, everyday from 8am-9pm, extremely noisy and it wasn’t relaxing at all
