Wilder House Berkshires

Per noi è stata una veloce sosta sulla strada da Boston a Watkins Glen, un piccolo assaggio del New England che ha lasciato il segno. B&B molto caratteristico, di estremo gusto, con tutte le comodità e un’ospitalità davvero rara. Colazione eccezionale. Peccato essersi fermati così poco!!!

Assolutamente nulla

Brads and Lara both served a fabulous breakfast. So friendly and welcoming! The bed was very comfortable. Only complaint was that the cabinet, closet door needs to be greased with WD 40 please on the hinges! A terrible & loud screeching noise!

Very clean and comfy beds. Good price for the season and the area.

Breakfast was very basic. The owners just had a baby and were not very available. Nobody there at check-in, which was a bit strange. More like an Airbnb than a bed and breakfast. Common areas are very dark. Our room was dark and small.

It’s a beautiful home with lovely furnishings, comfortable beds,and cozy places to gather with others.

Parking is a little tight but manageabl

My sister and I and her husband had a very nice stay. The rooms are very nice and very clean. We enjoyed an excellent breakfast every morning. I highly recommend Wilder House!

Sat on the porch Adirondack chairs and was a bit noisy with road noise but it isn’t bothersome inside the house

Brad, owner is excellent, keeping you always informed. Our nice size room 4 with a very comfy king bed and private bath is exactly what we hoped for. Hot shower, with thick towels and quality little shower bottles. Breakfast is filling and better than food elsewhere. Location is great, close to Great Barrington. We will be back.

Nothing I would change.

Lots of amenities you wouldn’t necessarily expect in a rural bed and breakfast/vintage inn. From a lot of (free!) parking (~8 spaces for 5 rooms) to a standard charging cable (free for PHEV, $15 per stay for full-EV) and in an amazing location 5-minute drive from Great Barrington (with the impressive independent supermarket Guido’s). Brad is a very attentive host with just the right amount of contact prior to arrival (another surprising feature: contactless check-in with digital locks for your room and the inn’s front door) and the skills of a gourmet-level cook. Easily sone of the best soft-scrambled eggs I have EVER had! The rooms are tastefully appointed and include all the modern conveniences one would expect: streaming big-screen monitor, updated shower with excellent water pressure and beautiful tiles, mini-fridge, iron and ironing board. Best yet, a comfortable bed with extra pillows and effective blackout curtains!

Would be nice to have access to an ice machine 24/7.
