Very clean and tidy Calm environment Staff were lovely

Open and clean, great location

Kitchen equipment, Knifes are blunt. When going for drinks at bar glasses left from previous day on outside tables. All basics that could easily be resolved for a better stay

The location was stunning, staff so helpful and lodge lovely. We'll definitely be back!!

My downgrade for our stay was purely regarding the pillows. We had a two bedroom lodge. Some of the pillows were lumpy causing restless nights. We'll bring our own next time

Whole place superseded expectations. Not a huge lodge park,felt more homely, peaceful and relaxing. Allocated parking for our lodge which was very clean, modern, and had everything we needed heating came on quickly after a long day's walking. Didn't go for the hot tub option but we were out all day and had an amazing time so didn't miss it. Staff all very friendly, and the whole place is dog friendly (actually dog friendly not just saying they are) secure gate at front of lodges and balconies and there is a large dog walking field and dog shower on site. They bring dog bowls and water to the dogs in the bar and have a treat and blanket station all free. We don't have a dog but love animals so thought this should be inc in the review. They also raise money for the local animal shelter. Great central location for days out and nice relaxing vibe in the bar restaurant.

We didn't book a lodge with a hot tub, so our return will have to include one
