Grateful Dreams Lodging

I had a wonderful stay! The room was a bit more trippy than I had expected, but it is the Grateful Dead style, so what should I have expected? Haha! The hosts were WONDERFUL, and the room was clean, the bed was SOOOO comfy (even though I don't partake in the area's special offerings) and I felt comfortable and at peace being there.

I really don't have anything negative or any constructive criticism, except maybe that I thought it was sweet there were snacks in the room, but I did see they weren't complimentary and definitely had a mark-up on them. It's totally understandable as it's a business, but just sat with me funny. Probably would have preferred to just have a nice open table to work on instead of a huge bowl full of sugary treats taking up the space.

I loved the purple room I stayed in. The bed was also very comfortable. Lighting and room darkening shades helped me sleep off my jet lag. Good hosts. 420 friendly. A fun place and walking distance to grocery stores, cafes, restaurants.

I was freezing the whole time:( but to be fair I was arriving from Mexico!

The two hosts were absolutely wonderful. So hospitable and accommodating. The breakfasts they cook are to die for and they know a lot about the area and all the best places to visit. They sure are worth it!

Best accommodation on my whole trip to the US. Very very nice hosts and super clean and comfy rooms.

This hostel was full of life and color. The owners were absolutely wonderful to have around, they are very personable and kind people. The passion and work put into this place was very noticeable through the art and intricate detailing throughout the house. It was overall an amazing stay.

LOVE the decor and the theme - the hosts are so creative to make each room unique. We so enjoyed the homemade breakfast and the amenities. Lots of wonderful touch to make guests feel welcoming! The place is exceptionally clean!

Truly enjoyed our time there Dave and Becky were very nice and friendly also helpful with information on things we wanted to do, definitely will stay there again.

The location was in walking distance to the Cal Poly campus and to the cafes and restaurants downtown, the staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the facility was in great condition, and all for an unbeatable price.

The one slight hassle was the requirement to put down a cash deposit. I don't like carrying large amounts of cash with me and would have preferred this to be done via a credit card charge.
