Trinity Quay Apartments

Large spacious apartment with everything provided for a home away from home. Just round the corner from Union Square and just down the hill from Union Street made it in an ideal location

We were escorted to the property by a staff member (separate building along the street from the Hotel) which was nice. The building has some steps to enter, then more steps to access the floor we were on. Access to the apartments is through a large sofa filled area which meant we were away from the noise of Shiprow where there are lots of bars and eateries. Liked having a small kitchen although scant in contents.

A last minute change of plans on my side meant travelling with 2 dogs instead of 1 - they charge £25 per dog PER NIGHT even though there is a requirement for you to display the 'do not disturb/ sign on the door for housekeeping if they are left in the flat at all through the day (which they were), so no housekeeping during my 2 night stay. Neither of the large harbour facing windows open, so when I arrived the room was stifling hot and no means to cool it down (leaving blinds closed would have helped). The only window to open was in the bedroom, but only slightly and too noisy from the street below to keep open overnight. Neither bedside light worked and no overhead light so had to use my mobile phone as a light (didn't realise until second night so only reported on leaving). Left my phone charger and cable plugged into bedside socket but Hotel did not recover it even though I reported this the day I checked out.
