California Beach Chalet

Great location next to park's attractions.

No Wi Fi and no towels but we knew in advance so we came prepared.

Lovely location. Needed to upgrade the saucepans and a little bit of painting.

The communication was amazing with the host from start to finish, we arrived and chalet was clean, great location, chippy across which was tasty , beach not far which was gorgeous, and fantastic value for money, only thing that would improve it is having wifi but not a huge issue, will definitely be returning

Not a lot really would of liked a bigger pan for a family of 4 wasn't a decent size one but managed but that was really all I could fault, again not a huge issue.

I liked it all and wrote feedback about that, and how i liked it, in the feedback book.

After we left we had a call as the person who comes in to turn the chalet around for the next guests had called upset because, from what I interpret; that she basically had anything to do other than grab the laundry which we had stripped off the beds, and replenish a few things. They reported we had possibly broken a rule and had a dog/s in because the floor was stained and it was also a mess. I consider myself a clean person who notices dirt and while i cleaned quite meticulously during my stay I didn't see myself in the role of cleaning out for next guests when we pay but an insigificant amount, for a holiday and for that so expect some services. I'm sure that the cleaner would need to do a final sweep and fully clear the sink drainer e.g.. I think they're were 2 tiny flecks of cornflakes after of done am the bins and o did need to leave at some point with a teenage and a young child to have a bite more holiday before a very long journey home. They said the microwave had been repositioned which was sinking not true. In order to press the door button it gets pushed along a bit into the corner in its place on top of the fridge freezer. I had personalised the space so left a coffee table where it was best and left a wire basket with a wooden top next to it as we had enjoyed it that way. As an oversight i didn't put the two handy little shelving provisions back into the walk in wardrobes. Busy getting myself and 2 young ones out in time and totally forgot. . Sorry if putting those back was so upsetting but i don't think it warrants that as I left it clean with everything still rather tidy. I've had menial tasks to do in hospitality and just dealt with it, in states that i can't imagine what psychological state would leave this employee in. Thankfully the lady who called did seem to be ready to let sleeping dogs lie, scuse the pun. I would happily recommend this accom so let's let it end on that positive note.

Amazing location, close to plenty of gorgeous clean beaches. Dog friendly, clean and tidy and amenities across the road. The fish and chip shop was good!

Had to go buy our own toilet roll as only a small bit of one roll left. A tea towel would have been helpful also.

No clean beads, dirty floor, refurbished next door all day long until evening
