Nothing, Lamentable

My experience at this hotel was, without a doubt, the worst I have ever had. I have traveled across many countries throughout my life, staying in hostels, guesthouses, and hotels of all kinds — and nothing has come close to this. The hotel appears to be run by a family who lives on the premises, and unfortunately, this created significant issues during my stay. On the night in question, young children were running through the corridors, slamming doors, screaming, and playing well past midnight. I fully understand that managing young children is a parental responsibility — but as guests paying to rest, we should not be the ones bearing the consequences. After three days hiking in the mountains, I politely approached the staff at 11:00 PM — in Russian, making the effort to communicate in their language — and asked whether the noise could be reduced. I was told yes. Nothing changed. At 11:30 PM I approached again, explained the situation calmly, and asked if I could be moved to a different room. The answer was no. The rooms are not soundproofed in the slightest. From my room at the end of the corridor, I could clearly hear loud music, shouting, and doors slamming from the other end of the building — with no intervention from staff whatsoever. To make matters worse, not a single member of staff spoke English — and rather than this being treated as an inconvenience to address, it was delivered with an attitude that bordered on pride. That is not a quality one expects from a hospitality business. The breakfast deserves a special mention: I have camped at 3,000 metres altitude, and the food there was genuinely better. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who values rest, basic communication, or simple human decency from staff. If a paying guest raises a concern — once, twice, three times — and is met with indifference every single time, that is not hospitality. That is a complete failure of the most basic duty of care. Zero stars.

Отличный отель, нам так понравилось пребывание здесь, что мы решили остаться еще на один день. Очень вежливый и отзывчивый персонал, всегда готовы помочь. У нас была просьба заменить на завтрак жареные яйца на вареные, без проблем внесли изменения, за что отдельное спасибо. Завтраки очень вкусные. Номер очень понравился: чисто, уютно, есть всё необходимое для комфортного отдыха. С удовольствием вернемся снова!
