Sunflowers Canada House

The young couple hosts were so friendly and helpful. They invited us to the Hindu festival which was amazing experience. The house is beautiful and very spacious and clean. The living areas are shared but with no one else booked in we enjoyed it alone. Very good air conditioned living area and great kitchen with all you need. Would definitely stay here again.

It a bit out of town but a 300 rupee tuk tuk will get you there in no time. We also walked it.

This is a very charming, impeccable guesthouse with a small number of rooms. I had an upper room in the house, spacious, private, with great working electrical, lighting and AC, a large comfortable bed, and lots of natural light. The room includes an ensuite bathroom and has access to a well-equipped shared kitchen. The entire unit is meticulously clean and well-maintained, on a far higher standard than most places I have stayed in here. The lodge is located in a very green, leafy neighborhood, probably one of the nicer neighborhoods of Jaffna. It isn't close to anything much, but the restaurants and cafes you do find are very good. Note that the lodge is difficult to find, as it is located on a side alley that is not on the map. Follow the signs posted at street corners and you will find it!
