Bamboo Cottage Langkawi

Very nice place, close to nature. Beautiful swimmingool and garden. Clean rooms, extrrmally nice staff. The smell from the toilet is sometimes not nice, but it is not a big problem. During our stay a group of giests was very noisy, if you are in such place take into account that other guests want to relax in the sounds of nature not in the sound of drunk people. I think that the Bamboo team should pay attention to the behaviour of guests

Location is perfect, the staff are so nice, and at night is so peaceful no noisy cars, just the crickets sounds if u stay outside and it’s like music into my ears🥰

Sehr schöne Anlage, etwas abseits, was uns aber gut gefallen hat. Für Unternehmungen am Abend etc. kann man sich sehr unkompliziert mit Grab behelfen.. Dafür hat man ein schönes Naturerlebnis.

Schade, dass der Pool nach 08.00 Uhr nicht benutzt werden darf. Das hätten wir noch wirklich gerne gemacht. Frische Handtücher wären auch nicht schlecht gewesen. Aber alles keine großen Probleme.

The communal area is nice, with a swimming pool and kitchen. The location was ok for me too.

I arrived at 6 PM and found that both single beds in my room were not clean. On one bed, I counted at least eight long black hairs around the pillow area. The other bed was covered in stains. I contacted the owner through WhatsApp (as there is no one at reception after 4 or so) and was told that no cleaner was available and that it would have to wait until the next day. This effectively meant I was expected to sleep on a dirty bed for the first night. Not what I paid for. At 10 PM on the first night I had to contact the owner again as there was no hot water coming from the shower. I did not receive any response until the next morning. The following morning, a staff member came to inspect the beds and the shower. She confirmed that the beds were dirty and that the hot water was not working. I was then moved to a new room, which was more aligned with expectations (and I ended up extending my stay by 1 night); however, no compensation was offered at all for the first night. On the third day of my stay, I locked the door when I went out, only to find it wide open upon my return. I had taken my valuables with me, so nothing was missing; however, the situation made me feel uncomfortable and somewhat concerned about security. The Wi-Fi was poor. It was sufficient for basic browsing, but I was unable to make calls over the internet without experiencing connectivity issues.

De sfeer, het zwembad, het ruime huis met airco én ventilatoren. Ze kunnen ook tripjes voor je regelen, heel fijn. De gemeenschappelijke ruimte was ook mooi, je kon er zelf eten maken, en staat koffie en thee en er zijn wat kleine dingetjes voor het ontbijt en qua drinken te koop.

Er was niet continu iemand aanwezig, in ieder geval niet bij de receptie dus het is soms eventjes zoeken om iemand iets te kunnen vragen. Je wordt wel goed en snel geholpen met alles dat je vraagt.
