Idyllic cottage escape in Oxfordshire countryside

The cottage itself was immaculate, spotlessly clean and incredibly well-kept. Every room was tidy and thoughtfully arranged, with tasteful decor that added to the cozy, welcoming atmosphere. It was clear that a lot of care goes into maintaining the property, which made our stay all the more enjoyable. Nestled in a peaceful and quiet location, it offered the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Spacious comfortable cottage in a beautiful village. Very close to good roads with lots of beautiful villages and activities close by. Highly recommend.

Great location, very quiet. Good space for family.

The location was excellent - close to Banbury and motorway connections. The cottage has massive potential and is very roomy, but it is in urgent need of updating.

The furniture, carpets and lino, and the kitchen and bathroom, were very dated. I didn't like the crockery being piled on the kitchen windowsill, the cheap hairdryer and the very cheap towels.

We were welcomed at the property by our host and we were surprised at the size of the cottage. The location was great for exploring Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire, and for accessing eating places in Banbury. The property was clean and fully equipped, e.g. microwave, air fryer etc, and there was a supermarket close by so we ate in on our first night. There was also secure off road parking which is always a bonus. We had a very comfortable stay in this property.
