DO NOT BOOK THIS VILLA. We booked Villa Madeleine for 3 nights but checked out after only 1 night due to unacceptable conditions. The villa was not as advertised. It was dirty, smelled strongly of sewerage, and the bedroom door did not lock, meaning we could not secure the premises at night. There was also no security on site. On top of this, the property is located down a back alley, far from main roads, and felt very isolated, adding to the unsafe experience. We reported these issues via WhatsApp and the host acknowledged them but confirmed they could not be fixed. Left with no safe or habitable option, we checked out at 7am the next morning and had to find alternative accommodation at our own expense. Despite this, the host refused to provide a full refund for the unused nights and only offered a small “goodwill gesture” refund of $170AUD which does not reflect the seriousness of the situation. We also received a check-out message one day earlier than our original booking, adding to the confusion and poor management. Extremely disappointing experience. Unsafe, misrepresented, and poorly handled. We would not recommend this property.

The staff were amazing. Putu and Kadek were extremely helpful and great communication. Whilst the villa is relatively new it is not very well stocked. There are only 2 wine glasses for a villa that sleeps 4 and only 3 forks. No blender or iron. Really nice bath towels though. The location suited us perfectly as we were going to a wedding at Stone Villas which was only an 8 minute walk away but proximity to everything else was poor. There are no amenities close like restaurants, shops and bars. We didn’t have bikes so we needed to use Grab & Gojek for food and alcohol. So all up it suited our needs for a short stay to go to the wedding but I don’t think we would stay here again.

Struttura nuova ma con alcuni segni di trascuratezza (divano e tappeti macchiati), umidità sui muri esterni, vasca da bagno mal tenuta. Pulizia non eccellente. Posizione non centrale

Beautiful property and very comfortable. The property is secluded however this is not an issue as Taxis are readily available via your preferred taxi app to take you to nearby lovely restaurants and beautiful surrounds. The host was also very warm and welcoming.

Lovely property / very comfortable beds/ great bathrooms (2) and great roof top area ! Only negative is you need to bring supplies as no shops nearby. A toaster would be great also but not a necessity Very friendly staff
