KIngston Carriage House

Amazing stay! Just make sure you get a lesson in how to turn the heat on... beautiful property walking distance from sights, shops, and cafes. Will absolutely stay there next time we are in Kingston!

The room was pretty well equipped. All the toiletries and linens were of high quality. The Wifi worked well. There was a seating area outside the room that was fairly nice.

Although the owners have done a decent job making this property better with things like the toiletries and linens, this is a fundamentally horrible property. The building is very run down - do not believe the pictures. The rooms were very noisy and the hotel fronts an active street; there is also a lot of noise from within the building due to its age and wooden floors. The property is also located in an ugly part of town -- which is saying a lot because the entirety of Kingston is not great, so being in an especially ugly part is really saying something. And the included "breakfast," which was a bag delivered outside our room door in the morning with a couple of pastries and a thermos of coffee, is a joke -- we told them not to bother on the second day.

Room was clean, well set up but there is no breakfast. Just protein bars and a nespresso machine. It makes the room overpriced.

No services. This is not a hotel, bait and switch picture shoes croissant and coffee for breakfast. Reality is protein bars and diy nespresso.

The property and location were amazing. Super easy to get to and from different points in Kingston. Walkable area. Good parking direction from the host. There was a logistical mix up but they fixed that immediately. It would have been nice to have the sofa bed made up upon arrival or at least have extra linens in the suite, but I let them know via their text line, and they sent someone within an hour. The breakfast/coffee situation leaves quite a lot to be desired, but hopefully theyll work out those kinks. Otherwise almost perfect and beautiful!

Carriage House was an absolute gem! It was stylish, cozy, and spacious. The morning coffee and baked goods for breakfast were outstanding - so good we found the local bakery and got more. It was such a comfortable stay and close enough for us to Rhinebeck. We are definitely planning on making a return trip in the future.

The tub and the bed were very nice and comfortable. The room was interesting and definitely had a good curated vibe as a carriage house with nice wide plank wood floors, interesting shaped room vaulted ceiling and vintage tiling in bath, etc. However there were not enough outlets, and the outlets that were there were not easy to plug into and one sparked. Room would greatly benefit from a coffee maker as the promised 7:30 coffee delivery did not happen in a timely enough manner on either day. The second day was a snow storm, but it seems unsustainable that coffee must be delivered from elsewhere. Also the croissants were ice cold on the first day, as well as being 45 minutes late.

Location and room decoration were wonderfuk

Room didn’t smell fresh. In fact, some of the pillows smelled tired. Breakfast was missing on the second day. No place to leave reciclables. Lack of response from “front desk” on arrival and on second day. No tea bag included in breakfast bag(I had expressed preference for tea instead of coffee in the pre-registration form)

Loved this house to stay and be walkable distance from the river. Mondays and Tues are quiet in the town since many places are not open. The carriage house is recently renovated and has such cute character. Only one incidence where I couldn’t get back in during midday as the door keypad was malfunctioning. The doors have to be relocked when exiting. The Breakfasts are yummy pastries but morning drop off is not punctual.

The Kingston Carriage House was clean and unique. The decor of the Inn was fun and unique. The room was very comfortable. The Inn is in a great location.
