"Very good"

8.0

The apartment is cozy, welcoming, and quite well-maintained. The cleanliness was excellent, and having a kitchen and refrigerator was very convenient. We found the apartment with the air conditioner already on, and the temperature was perfect. The small balcony was very comfortable. The location is enviable, extremely central, and just a few steps away from attractions like the Parliament and the vibrant nightlife. There are excellent pastry shops and bars right downstairs, and a large, well-stocked 24-hour supermarket just a short walk away. Public transportation is readily available nearby.Mona, the host, was extremely helpful and provided clear instructions. Check-in and check-out were very easy. The Emre pastry shop right downstairs, besides being excellent, also serves as a Bounce-affiliated luggage storage facility from 9 AM to 10 PM.Overall, the stay was pleasant, and if I were to return to Bucharest, I would definitely stay in this apartment again.

The building is quite old and somewhat chaotic, but it seems to be quiet. It has an elevator, and the people we encountered were always very polite. The bathroom could use a bit of a makeover, but it was still orderly and clean.I would have appreciated a small table and a hairdryer in the apartment, but these are minor details. In any case, the stay was enjoyable.

"A nice little studio in Bucharest"

9.0

It's a nice little studio in a great location in the center of Bucharest. It had everything we needed for one night, but it's also great for a longer stay. The bed is comfortable and there's a small kitchenette. We received instructions for self check-in and everything was great!

Communication with Owner

Sound isolation from windows is 0. Everything what is going on the street you can hear clearly even with closed windows. Luck of electric cattle

"Fantastic location. Neat little flat. Great for a short stay."

10.0

The flat contains pretty much everything one might desire. The main thing is the property's location of course, which is unbeatable, right in the Old Town! Super convenient. Doesn't get much better. There's also a balcony where you can bask in the sun. Everything is nearby, including one of the few Carrefour supermarkets in Bucharest open until 23:00. There are a few fast food joints (McDonalds and KFC) next to the flat on the edge of the Old Town + several clothes outlets like New Yorker, etc + a Starbucks close by. Naturally, there are plenty of authentic cafes, restaurants, bars, and strip clubs in the Old Town itself, just a stone's throw away (to suit every taste and budget), as well as numerous historical landmarks — simply look at the map! The hosts are helpful young folks who can organize a quick and easy self check-in and check-out. They speak good English and stayed in touch with me throughout.

There are a few downsides but none of them are decisive, nor are they the landlord's fault. There's no dining table, only a counter and a bedside table (among other furniture), but that's understandable since the studio is not big enough for everything. If you want to have a hot shower in the evening, it's harder compared to the morning (takes way longer for the boiler to work), but that's to do with the building's infrastructure, not the owners' maintenance. Just one of those things. Also, there's occasional noise in the night, which some sensitive sleepers may find bothersome, but again, that's something one should totally expect from a vibrant spot in the middle of Bucharest! All in all, my stay at the flat was enjoyable. So, these aren't complaints per se, but rather minor pointers to consider.
