Truly Disappointing Experience – Avoid This Place

I’m honestly shocked by the high ratings this property has. It makes me believe the previous reviews were either paid for or not genuine. Our stay was absolutely horrible. The A/C did not work at all. The room felt like an oven, making it nearly impossible to sleep. The fan was just for show – it only worked if we gave it a push ourselves. We informed the owner about the issue, and the next morning the manager responded, trying to shift the blame onto us for not calling him “promptly” enough. His attitude was dismissive and unprofessional, and he kept making excuses until he finally admitted that the A/C was indeed not working. To make matters worse, the so-called “breakfast” was just a formality – barely anything worth mentioning. Overall, this place was a complete letdown. I do not recommend staying here. Spend your money somewhere that actually values guests and provides basic comfort.

A beautiful place, calm and quiet. The lagoon offers a spectacular view from the rooms.

The room was not made up before check in. Had to call for cleaning. not clean bathroom and after entering had a called clean. No hanging equipment, no chairs. People are friendly, but the service is not professional. They try to do their best. The caller from the number provided by booking.com calls without taking responsibility and not controls the situation.

The room was spacious, modern and very clean. The staff were exceptionally good, they helped with various other bookings and were always available to help. The breakfast was perfect.

The location is a bit out of the way however it wasn’t a major issue as there is always a tuk tuk around the corner. It is a great location to use as a base if you have your own transport and want to be in a quiet area.

Rooms are really huge and plenty of space outside.

It’s not so clean, during our 4 days stay there were no hot water no one even alarmed us, then everyday they just said they’re gonna fix but till the end of no one solved our the issue. In the room just one socket, basic stuff missing - no kettle, no hangers, no chair. gaps on the front door and window so lizards and insects coming inside. No mosquito net. People are friendly but the service is semi professional. They tried their best.

My stay at ypsolon was amazing, relaxing and calm, with the picturesque view of the beach front. Should applaud the great staff, who were very friendly and helpful. Hospitality was spot on. My gratitude towards to excellent service wouldn't be completed if I wouldn't speak about the ayruvedic spa, where I experienced the most relaxing expereince.
