Lana Luxury Apartments- City Center Split

The apartment is just a few mins walk to Diocletians palace, although the area was a little run down in a back street. The one bedroom apartment is deceptively a lot smaller than can be made out from the photos. It’s also missing some essential items like kitchen scissors or a bathroom bin? The bedding was also different from pictured and the towels were mismatched and worn. After finding on our final night what appeared to be two bed bugs I feel the apartment could benefit from some much needed TLC and refurnishing. Nether the less we still had a great time in split just perhaps a lower price point would better reflect the accommodation ?

Very spacious and clean. Lana was always on hand if needed.

You are away from the centre but we had noisy neighbours below and next door.

It was a really great and cute apartment. Large, clean, wonderful kitchen area and bathroom. Since we drove to it we didn't realize at first just how close it is to the old town and palace. Literally ten minutes away.

Not good if you have a car. We were dropping our rental off at Split but first had not drive to the apartment to drop off the luggage. Main streets are fine in Split but driving on side streets is very difficult. Those around the apartment were one lane yet two-way and we had an issue with another driver. Also there is no parking. You can quickly stop in front to drop things off but if another car is coming in either direction, you are in trouble. We fortunately found a single spot nearby at the store parking lot, but that is only very temporary. It was a good thing we were returning the car.

A rat greeted us at your front door in the apartment building, after it started running down the stairs with my pregnant wife.. There was no shower gel, no bathroom mat so we had to use our towels. No ventilation in the bathroom or window. It was not even close to slightly being comfortable. And for the amount of money, this was unacceptable

It's central and near to Old Town. It's clean and basic. Check-in is self service and fuss free.

Parking is a nightmare around Split Old Town and for travelers who drove into Split, you have to be lucky to find parking space near apartment.

Location was perfect. Felt like we were in the middle of lively old Split. The host (Lana) was a delight.

the property was conveniently located near the split old town, just five minute walk. the location was easy to find, the apartment was spacious and clean

there was no parking that was easily available so I wouldn’t recommend this place if you have a car with you

Location was great as it was just outside of the old city so we could walk to pretty much wherever we needed to go. We ended up renting a car, finding a spot to park it overnight was less than ideal but I don't think there's anything that could be done about that. Walking up the 1 flight of stairs wasn't bad at all

It would've been nice if there was an ironing board. When first attempting to enter the apartment, originally tried to open the other apartment in the same hallway. Having a board or something to better identify who is staying in which apartment (if owned by the same people of course) would help with checking in and lead to less awkward encounters when trying to unlock the wrong door. The motion sensor light on the stairwell didnt stay on for long, but a quick wave of the hand to turn it on was simple.
