A very private location with each pod placed in a position that gave you maximum privacy, a very well thought through layout. The local pub was within walking distance and the woods were ideal for walking the dog.

The attention to detail (cleanliness) was not there. So much so that on the first night we had to request the BBQ be cleaned, this was done promptly and were told it was down to the cleaners to have checked this. Also a simple brush down of the outside would have stopped the build up of cobwebs outside. Inside the layout was good, however despite there being a new mattress the bed was uncomfortable and the bed settee was also very uncomfortable and not ideal to sit on to just watch a film or even relax.

It is a beautiful site and location. I particularly liked the swing seat, which made late evening relaxation very enjoyable. The availability of seperate toilet facities from the pod (even if they were not expressly for us) was a help. The small patio and table and chairs outside the pod made breakfast a wonderful experience, and the space between the pods, the quiet, the aesthetics were all very pleasing factors when coming home to the pod in the evening. My mother found her bed very comfortable, and the insulation / design of the pod meant that any damp towels dried quickly during the day. All these positives means a stay in the right pod is arguably a much better experience than staying in a hotel.

The advert on booking.com could have made more reference to the size of the pod, and of the shower enclosure. I do appreciate if I delved more on your website the info would probably have been there, however it was a last minute reduced booking for a cancellation. I was aware there could be some compromises but I think the sofa bed design - while I understand the need to fit a sofa in a tight space - let things down a bit. The positives did outweigh these snags, hence my overall rating being very positive.

Very hard to find, signed only from one direction. No prior information from the owner so spent an hour and a half trying to contact them on arrival to find out which pod had been allocated - this needs to improve for future guests.

Lovely, peaceful setting. Modern, spotless pod with all basic facilities and a few extras. George Forman BBQ ideal for cooking breakfast outdoors. Friendly owners.

Unbelievably hot in the pod at night with only one very small window to open.
