Very nice location! We are so close to the beach. We can walk there, play in the water, and come back to the house to change clothes. The house is beautiful and very clean. I like it, and the owner is very kind.

Beautiful spacious modern apartment with beautiful terrace and view on Balaton lake. Owners are great people and will help You with everything. Apartment have everything You need, parking is also great and spacious (protected from sun and in fence). There is restaurant few meters away, but center of Keszthely isnt that far if You want to try something else, also exchange in city square have good exch. rates. P.s. You must visit lake Hévíz! Its only ~10 minutes from apartment with car! When trip takes us back in this city, will come here again for sure!

Location was ok, the service was ok

Our recent stay at Helikon Terasz Apartman can only be described as a disappointing experience that sadly exemplifies a decline in Airbnb standards. While the property is brand new, it is alarmingly clear that it has not been outfitted to meet even the most basic expectations for a rental of this price point, particularly when compared to similar units in the same building. Upon arrival, we were struck by the lack of essential amenities. The absence of a washing machine, television, and internet access makes one question the rationale behind the premium pricing. Moreover, the bathroom was poorly designed, featuring no shelving in the shower, forcing us to resort to placing toiletries on the floor. The lack of a proper mirror in the unit further compounded our frustrations, as getting ready to go out became an exercise in inconvenience. The kitchen, which should be a haven for those looking to enjoy home-cooked meals, was under-equipped. The absence of basic items such as mugs for tea, a kettle for boiling water, and a clean oven left much to be desired. These omissions are not just oversights; they reflect a concerning disregard for guest comfort. On a positive note, Gabor, the manager hired by the owner, was a bright spot in our stay. His professionalism and service-oriented approach were commendable, though it was evident that his efforts were hindered by the owner’s apparent greed and unwillingness to invest in the property’s basic requirements. Overall, our experience at Helikon Terasz Apartman was far from satisfactory, and we left with a strong conviction that we would never return. This establishment has the potential to be a wonderful getaway, but without significant improvements and a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction, it remains a missed opportunity.
