Port Chambly Riverfront

Was great. Will highly recommend. Exactly what we needed before coming.

Might need to do a servicing with the shutters as it was not raising. During the day it was getting hot inside.

Good location private. Parking onsite. Comfy couch. Functioning kitchen

Great location and not too far from the pool. We love Port Chambly and the public pool.

Place was not very clean and beds very hard. Stayed for almost 2 weeks so would have been good with some extra bed linen and pillowcases (only one cover each but there were extra pillows but without a cover). Wifi very slow.

The host communicated check-in procedures, location and key collection well in advance. The Villa is situated in a beautiful Italian village-like setting on the Tromboue River. It is called the Venice of Mauritius. Lovely interior, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds. Aircons in the living room and bedrooms. I loved the lovely veranda overlooking the village and river.

Actually, I liked everything, but it is important to note that you need to drive to the nearest public beaches and supermarkets. Future guests need to take this in consideration if you don't want to make use of the on-site restaurants. There is a lovely swimming pool and BBQ area, but it is rather far from this villa. I would have loved a small, portable BBQ to use in the garden in front of the villa, but this might be an individual preference.

The apartment is close to the hotel. within walking distance. everything you would need for a home was present. it is my second visit to the apartment, and the second apartment I stay in Port Chambly, and it remains the best.

Outside of port chambly itself there is not much if you don't have a car

The apartment is just as pictured. Everything we needed was provided. The hotel is within walking distance (2 minutes).

You need a car to go to the shops. There's nothing within walking distance outside the property. But close if you take a taxi
