Firbush Lochside Lodges

Really beautiful and peaceful location. The pod was very well equipped for an easy stay. All the staff on site were incredibly friendly.

Not a very comfy spot if you want to hang out directly by the pod.

Location Location Location. Easy walk into killin or by kayaking. Loch shore accommodation with fab views. Comfortable bed and spacious interior. Good kitchen facilities and plenty of private seating outdoors.

Cabin slim ingedeeld, fijn bed, mooie uitkijk op het meer, rustig.

Je moet wel echt met de auto naar killin en de hikes want het is wel wat remote en de weg om te lopen is niet super fijn.

The pod had everything we needed to be warm and comfortable and to cook small meals. I found the bed comfortable and had 2 good nights sleep. The heater was great, the pod warmed up nicely and the shower was nice and hot too. There’s a nice little bit to sit outside. The setting is lovely, beside the loch and amongst trees, pretty and peaceful. It’s close to Killin and the Ben Lawers nature reserve.

The sofa is not very comfortable and I sat/lay on the bed instead. We think the sofa is a sofa bed and folds out, maybe why it’s not too comfy? Also we had to pay £30 extra for a dog package- a dog bed, water bowl, poop bags and a tennis ball- and to cover for the ‘extra’ cleaning - but all guests are asked to make sure the pods are clean before leaving and I swept the floor. I realise that all pods are thoroughly cleaned after guests leave so I don’t understand what the extra cleaning is. Anyway we thought £30 was a bit much.

Honestly Lovely pods, and such a brilliant couple nights spent here with my partner and our dog. You will struggle to find better value for your money.

The location was brilliant. So close to the water and so quiet! The pod was a good size and cozy.

Went the wrong way to the pod as I saw the sign for lodges but not pods. They are in the same area. Would appreciate more room for guest storage, maybe under the bed but not a big issue.
