Kalyves Coastal Retreat

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem Apartment. Alles war sauber, modern eingerichtet und bestens ausgestattet. Die Lage und vor allem der atemberaubende Ausblick hat uns überzeugt. Der Swimmingpool war auch ein Highlight, leider war hier aber keine Beschattung. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder kommen!

Amazing view. Clean, modern apartment with huge terrace with amazing sunrises. It looks exactly like in photos or even better. Downhill (5min walk) there is amazing restaurant ''CACTUS all day''. We had breakfast there every morning. It was easy to communicate with host via Whatsapp about the keys or any other questions. There was an amazing swimming pool in the property. 100% recommendation. For your information - the apartment is up hill and every time you go to the city or anywhere you must go down hill and later up hill. It doesn't take a long time, like 5min but be prepared for steep walk. We liked it. One day we walked like 3 times down and 3 times up. We felt in shape and like doing some sport after eating so much amazing food in Crete. There is also nice parking next to apartment (there is place for at least 8 cars).

As during the day it is hot, there were no blankets for sleep, only sheets and bed covers. However, after I contacted host and they informed it was possible to get blankets we simply didnt ask. I would also prefer more hard pillow option as there were only super light pillows with a little filling inside. The beds were comfortable.

The apartment is delicious, really what you see in the photos. It is facing the sea, so the view is splendid. The apartment has everything to receive a family, the rooms are equipped with air conditioning and the bed is very comfortable. The apartment complex has a charm and the pool has a size for children and adults. But all in all, I highly recommend the apartment and of course we will come back.

We had a problem with the water supply which penalized us for two days, a very unpleasant situation.

It is an 11 out of 10. I was hesitant at first because there weren't that many reviews but it really is a beautiful apparment with an amazing view and the infinity pool is just stunning. There is a nice breakfast restaurant called Catus near by which has amazing pancakes. It is about a 20 to 25min car ride to Chania.

Highly recommended for a group of 3 to 4!
