Sunrise house Alonnisos

We really loved our stay in Sunrise house. It‘s perfectly located in the Old Village of Alonnisos, but it is in a quiet and a little off the main streets down the hill. The house is big, has everything you need and a very well equipped kitchen. Giannis picked us up from the seaport and also took us to a supermarket right away. We stayed in contact with the owners so they could make sure that everything was fine. They are very nice. We visited all beaches nearby and liked every single one very much. If you are looking for a cozy, authentic home and for some quiet nights, this should be your choice. We would love to come back!

Sunrise House is such a lovely place to stay as it’s a traditional property, full of charm and character, in an amazing location. It’s surprisingly private for such a central village location and has obviously been a much loved home as it’s full of personal items and characterful furniture. It’s not high spec or modern, but it’s clean, well cared for and got excellent facilities throughout, especially the kitchen (much better than other traditional properties we’ve stayed in on this trip). There’s no air con, but the house stays cool and comfortable. The views are beautiful! The photos and description are very true to reality and Fotini (the owner) is delightful. Chora is a perfect place to stay, it’s so pretty and has lovely bars and restaurants (I recommend Astrofegia for amazing service, food and wine). Hire a car or scooter so you can easily explore this beautiful island and its beaches during the day, then enjoy the evening on foot in this charming, scenic village, it really is a gem. I highly recommend staying at Sunrise House for a perfect Alonnisos village experience.
