Everything was just wonderful. The apartments are so nice that you want to stay and live there.

Stayed to hike the next day. Arrived late and left early so no chance to meet the owners but very easy access and no issues.

It could be better with two double beds. Instead of one double and two singles. Otherwise very nice.

It’s not well sign posted, it comes up as ‘cloghereen’ not Ethan house & sign outside is very small. We rang host 5 times & got no answer. We eventually found it but didn’t know where to go I found a group of men in another apartment eventually who told me where it would be as they have stayed there before. A better sign outside but other than that it was a 10/10 stay.

It is cosy and very spacious. Bed was really comfortable. There are 2 bathrooms! Each has a bath. The washing machine and dryer were a godsend after a very wet hike in the hills! The dining table in the dormer window was the perfect size to lay out a map and plan adventures. Views of the Coolies out the window when the clouds lifted. Great stay for a couple with a car who love to hike in all weathers.

Like most holiday homes, you would be advised to bring your own sharp knife and there is no roasting tray. The dormer windows provide the only natural light so you need the lights on during the day. But look, these are really minor, it is a fantastic, generously proportioned holiday apartment and I feel we lucked out!

The extra beds and the ample space

So clean, quiet, private area and private parking- everything was in driving distance and taxis are no problem to get.. host made sure we had everything we needed-tea coffee towels-everything was provided… a great location
