Lakeside Mountain Haven

Everything was great. The location and view were fabulous. All amenities were included. Was able to use the dryer and washer. Hair dryer and straighteners included. Boardgames, heaters in the rooms and towel rack warmer in bathrooms were a plus! Shower pressure was great and we were able to have hot showers everyday. Included outdoor Jacuzzi was fab. Also the interior and set up of the accommodation was well thought out and looks great. Rooms had space for luggage to put opened out.

The apartment was very spacious and fit exactly what we were looking for. It was very clean and well appointed. The views were amazing, I would definitely recommend having a car as the road is very steep and would take a while to walk up. The communication was good and check in was very straightforward.

Loved the view and the hot tub. It was comfortable and well provisioned. Not a big fan of the steps but definitely worth it

Nicely furnished, comfortable beds and plenty of useful amenities like: shampoo and conditioner, cooking oil, salt pepper, clothes washing detergent, plenty of utensils, cutlet and crockery - they’ve thought of everything and it was greatly appreciated! We loved our stay.

1. Great location

1. Owners repeatedly wanted me to confirm that I was travelling alone (and then tried to blame it on their automatically generated messages, despite the first request to confirm that I was travelling alone being a message from the owner herself) 2. Cleaning of surfaces was pretty average when I arrived 3. So many rules about temperature control in the apartment with direct threats of additional charges if the temperature control was altered - The apartment was freezing the entire time I was there (and I dare not touch the temperature settings) 4. Spa was lacklustre and insipid (the single jet barely moved the water) - Very unimpressive 5. So many references to potential additional charges at the end of the stay (both in their reference folder and their message to me the day before I left). I was unable to submit photos of how clean the apartment was when I left (to demonstrate that additional charges were not warranted), however, I was unable to do this the owner does not have an active email account and booking.com app doesn’t allow users to upload photos in the messaging system)

Lovely accommodation at an excellent location with an amazing view! Spacious and has a great hot shower! We had such a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

Fan running in bedrooms made it difficult to sleep. Fine to have just no way to turn off at night.
