everything was absolutely fine even taking into account the shortcomings

1) we had a room in front, so we could hear the famous traffic noise of bangalore, though it was rather calm during the night. Maybe the back side rooms are more quiet, but I preferred the nice room in front. 2) Two evenings the rythmic music of a party in the hall one floor up was disturbing. One time at 00.00 h, the other day at 1 AM. I had to go to the reception to ask to stop the music. When they asked the organisation of the party to stop the music, it took half an hour the first night before it stopped at 00.30 AM, 1.15 AM the second night. So that was a small but annoying blemish on our stay. It is not mentioned at the (booking)website of the hotel that there is also a dancing hall in the house, so you cannot take this into account when booking. 3) As a female traveller, I would appreciate more female staff at reception and among the housekeeping staff which may not be so common in India (yet).
