Couldn’t even get in.

Customer service was terrible.

We enjoyed leaving the property, safe in the knowledge we would never come back again.

On arrival we opened the front door and were met with a strong odour of rotten meat, old fat and strong floral air freshener. We entered the house and noticed a general state of disrepair and uncleanliness: for example: a hole punched in the living room wall, filthy floors and walls, a pile of dirty bedding on top of the washing machine, rodent poo in the kitchen cupboards, dirty dishes inside the cupboards, a broken blind, razors and rubbish in the backyard, and overflowing recycling and rubbish bins. One of the bed frames was broken. The apartment did not match the description and we didn’t want to get charged for damage and mess we didn’t cause, so we immediately contacted booking.com and the property, sending photos and a description to alert them to these issues. As we were going to a show that afternoon, we could not find any alternative accommodation so we went to our gig and checked out the next day. Three days later we were charged a £299 cleaning fee and told that the house needed a deep clean after we stayed. Obviously we would have preferred the house to be deep cleaned *before* we arrived, so we contested the cleaning fee with booking.com Cue three months of nightmarish communications with booking.com to get the cleaning fee refunded. Unfortunately booking.com had no remedy for the cleaning fee which was charged to us. Based on our experience we cannot recommend Perfect Stay Manchester.
