Large Country Farmhouse

Location and accommodation size

The country house was well equipped Lovely really log burners and everything you need for a lovely stay with family. We booked the farmhouse we was going a wedding at bashall barn and booked taxis taxi for 6 was only £18 .would definitely book to stay here again..

There was nothing we didnt like. It was perfect.

We loved the country feel and excellent location. Loads of space

Nothing really. Perhaps more of a garden but we were staying in winter so not a problem

Fantastic farmhouse We stayed as a group of friends everyone was pleased with their rooms & ensuite facilities Great space downstairs & everything you needed in the kitchen

great location for us

We should not have tried the pizza oven in November as we could not get it to heat up sufficiently to cook pizzas for all of our party. We tried to cook them then in the range oven but again found it was not sufficiently hot. Next time casserole!

Beautiful house with so much space and great communal areas. We stayed in the winter and the log burner and living room fire made it so cosy. Also had use of the outdoor pizza oven which was fab. Perfect for a big group of friends. Lovely walks from the door with local pubs to stop at. Dog friendly too. Large bedrooms with plenty of bathrooms and en-suites. Kitchen had everything we needed and can also get takeaways and food shop deliveries to the door. Awesome countryside views from the house.

Beautiful house set in lovely location. Lots of rooms, almost everything you could want was provided. Fireplaces easily lit, very clean. Good kitchen fully equipped.

Only a few minor items to comment on. Some of the mattresses getting towards needing replacement. No ironing board that we could find. A lot of flies in the large 3rd floor bedroom.
