Residenza San Fortunato

The property is situated in an attractive rural location close to Assisi, with pleasant views of the surrounding Umbrian countryside. The building itself has character and appears to have the potential to provide a comfortable holiday stay if properly maintained and presented.

The accommodation differed significantly from the description and photographs on Booking.com. The advertised Wi-Fi was not functioning and there was effectively no usable mobile phone signal at the property, leaving us unable to reliably contact the host, Booking.com, family members or emergency services without leaving the property and driving elsewhere. We also found the property cluttered with owner possessions and personal items, and the standard of cleanliness was substantially below our expectations. Dust, dirt and debris were visible in a number of areas. Several advertised amenities were unavailable, unusable or could not be located despite a reasonable search, and we were advised not to use one of the showers because it was not working properly. Given the combination of communication failures, cleanliness concerns and unavailable facilities, we did not feel comfortable remaining at the property and left shortly after arrival. The condition of the accommodation was inconsistent with the very high rating displayed on Booking.com.

En entorno muy lindo y muy tranquilo , las vistas espectaculares. No hubo demasiado tiempo en dos días para disfrutar de la casa .

Que no hubiera microondas , y la escalera de comunicación entre el dormitorio que se encuentra abajo y la sala de estar , comedor y cocina ( Arriba) es demasiado angosta . Aunque se pueden entrar las valijas por la entrada de abajo .

Nothing- everything was perfect 😍

This is a very special retreat residence. It exceeded my expectations in every way. The location is just short drive (car is essential) from Assisi. The view is stunning and it is so peaceful. The host helped in every way possible including making excellent restaurant suggestions.

WSZYSTKO! Oaza spokoju. Piękny i funkcjonalny dom na WYŁĄCZNOŚĆ. Totalna prywatność. Położony na wzgórzu z dala od ludzi. Widok na Asyż. Otoczony lasem. Cisza i spokój. Ptaki i wiewiorki. Wyposażenie nowe i kompletne. W kuchni były wysokiej jakości naczynia. Paolo - właściciel czekał na nas w Asyżu i poprowadził nas do domu. Przekazał lokalne pyszne wino. Był cały czas dostępny. Wyjątkowe miejsce warte odwiedzenia!!!

If you enjoy the silence, this is the place to be when visiting Assisi. Great house on a hill with view on Assisi. The house offers a lot of privacy and is very well equiped. Pleasant communication with the owner who offers free coffee, tea and a good bottle of wine. Also a lot of good tips for restaurants and places to visit. Our dog Tommy simply loved it over here.
