"All in all is was a nice place to stay."

We were only there one night but we had good night sleep 😴. Breakfast was real good, Sorry we couldn't stay to eat and chat. Would stay again.

"LOVED IT!"

I really liked the unique house and quiet location. Kevin was quiet and respectful of privacy but I really enjoyed having a more lengthy conversation with him over breakfast. He is a great host and uniquely kind person. The books throughout the house gave it a old timey feel :)

The bathroom isn't directly connected to the room...not a problem for me but good to know.

Pleasant, somewhat rustic, clean, comfortable lodging at a great value. Well worth going a little out of my way for. Kevin was a great host and I look forward to returning.

A little out of the way, a little hard to find with no signage. Now that I know where it is, that is not a problem.

Kevin is a truly exceptional host who tries to accommodate all your needs. Easy check-in. Fully equipped kitchen to use. Excellent breakfast. A beautiful garden to hang out.

No phone reception and the internet didn't allow to get work done. Not sure if that was due to a recent storm. On some days it was fine - others not at all.

"Disappointing"

There was nothing to like about this experience.

I showed up and although I got an early check in due to a wedding event I needed to attend - no one was there. I heard voices in the back yard and two people were there who said, "Kevin isn't here". They offered to call him, which they did, and then proceeded to talk very loudly about how he always does this (laced with very colorful profanity). Waited for a half an hour and owner showed up and said, "I didn't know you were coming". Then proceeded to tell me that he needed to go and try to find an air conditioner because he was going to put me in an upstairs bedroom (it was a 90 degree day). I had to leave and go find a restaurant bathroom to get ready for my event and ended up driving home rather than going back.
