Domus Clelia Apartament

La casa è meravigliosa, grande e ha tutto ciò che serve. Ottima per famiglie nunerose. Posizione strategica vicino all'autostrada e vicinissima al centro di Pompei. Negozi di ogni genere a 1 minuto. Torneremo sicuramente.

The apartment was very spacious, everything was clean. In the two bathrooms there were complimentary shampoos, soaps etc. The hosts were very friendly and spoke good english. As for the location - everything is more or less walking distance. Overall we've had a great stay, everything was without a problem. Definitely would recommend a stay in this place.

Lo cómodo y espacioso que era y con todo lo que necesitas

El lavabo grande la ducha no tiene cortina y es un poco incómodo ducharte , y en una de las habitaciones tenía ventilador pero no se podía enchufar porque no tenía para enchufar estaba roto

Segítőkészek, jól beszélnek angolul, gördülékeny a kulcsátadás, mindent elmondanak amit tudni kell a környékről, a helyi szokásokról. Gyorsan válaszolnak az üzenetekre. Kilátás a Vezúvra az erkélyről. Parkolási lehetőség a lakáshoz közel, van ingyenes is, itt mindig találtunk helyet. Közel a vasútállomás, az autópálya, a belváros, a látnivalók és a boltok. Légkondis lakás, mindennel felszerelve.

Location is ok, about 15-20 mins walk from Pompei train station, 10 mins walk from buses.  There are restaurants and supermarkets 5-10 mins walk. The apartment is spacious, even more than we expected from the listing!  There were good supplies of shampoo, body wash, coffee pods etc and the kitchen has many of the things you'd need to cook a few meals. It's on a busy road so there's some noise 24/7.  But it's not too bad to sleep with the windows shut and earplugs, and street noise seems to be unavoidable in Italy. We had worse in Rome.

The check in and check out processes were a pain. Check in requires meeting someone on location to get the keys, and we provided our check in time a few days before arriving. 30 minutes before the agreed time we got a message asking us to meet at a different location to collect the keys.  We had some discussion and they agreed to send someone to meet us at the accommodation.  But it was an unnecissarily stressful 30 minutes standing out the front of the train station with kids, heavy bags, and poor phone reception trying to figure out what to do (while being hassled by the scammy "tourist office" people).  If the keys need to be collected off-site this needs to be explained in the listing, before people book. Checkout is better as you just leave the keys inside.  But the apartment door latches automatically, and a key is required to exit the front gate, so it takes some planning to avoid being locked in the garden.  Again, not helpful when you're trying to get kids out the door with a bunch of bags and catch a train. A key safe or electronic lock would make things so much easier.

Very big and nice apartment, we enjoyed our holidays there in Pompeii.

It's quite noisy even at night due to the busy road outside. But in general, we were very happy with the apartment.
