"a relaxing stay in a quiet place within a quiet location"

8.0

the Kitchen was very bright and open , and location was very useful for visiting different places . The private garden was a bonus, the bedroom was very comfortable. the bathroom was a decent size for all our stuff

the broadband was at times non existent, but that meant it was pleasantly quiet. It was not fully clear about parking .the drive to the designated place was to the left of the building and not as it looks in the picture the right. and you have to go through the Neighbours garden to get to the property .

"Good"

Lovely cottage, had everything we wanted, good decor and very cute, it's small but never felt cramped, we were 4 adults.

Bad communication on details of access, site of key safe, and a description of access to the property thru other peoples gardens. Lack of parking proved to be a bit of an issue, but there is a pub nearby that you can park a car in, not ideal, but you can't have everything.

The cottage is lovely and quite spacious with a good size well equipped kitchen and a comfy living room. It's clear that hosts put in a lot of effort to create a warm and welcoming space. The garden is a great space to sit down and relax.

The only thing we didn't like. Reversing from a busy road through the narrow passage into the designated space was a bit tricky. The house is right by the main road and the road can be quite busy. Please make it clear in the instruction that to access the door from the parking space one needs to cross neighbour's garden.

"Friends weekend away!"

10.0

Really lovely house, much more spacious than anticipated downstairs. Big living room and well equipped kitchen! Lovely and dog friendly, secure garden. Warm and welcoming, good space for 4 adults!

Nothing in particular, would have been good to know there was only one parking space and no parking nearby. Had to leave one car in a layby half a mile away along a main road. If we had known before we would have travelled in one car.

"We will be returning!"

10.0

What a lovely place! Has everything you could possibly need and in a great location. The cottage is spacious and the garden is lovely for a little time spent in the sun with a book. The hosts were easy to contact and always responded quickly. We found Laurel Cottage to be spotlessly clean and well maintained.

Truly the only thing was that there was no hairdryer! Which isn’t really an essential - just a ‘nice to have’
