Facilities and decor are tired and poorly thought out. For instance showers not working properly, bathrooms inadequately planned (eg no towel rail in one bathroom), furnishings felt like they may have been sourced from a charity shop. Overall feel of the cottage was gloomy.

The three-bedroom house is beautiful. The bedrooms are very nicely decorated and very comfortable. We would happily have stayed longer. Bernadine is a lovely host and made sure we had everything we needed.

A great property for a family stay in the Carlow region. Enough space for our family of five and having two bathrooms was a bonus. Bernadine was a fantastic host who went out of her way to ensure we had a great stay over the Christmas period. We enjoyed her scones on arrival.

A retreat location, away from rushed urban life. Comfortable rooms and kitchen. When weather is nice - breakfast/lunch on the terrace / in the garden is a nice experience. The owner is available to hand in the keys, answer questions.

There are few spider yarn on the walls. From time to time, there is a strong noise,like a pump or motor,from the upper floor, even in the middle of the night. The room was prity cold
