Residence Hotel Kamoike

Amazing apartment. 5 min. walking to the next bus stop, tram station and big supermarket. 10 min. with the tram to be downtown. One softer and one harder bed, both really comfy. Multiple blankets and sleeper friendly pillows. Newest tech everywhere: Beamer to have great movie nights (with logged in Hotel accounts for multiple streaming services, fridge, microwave, rice cooker, coffee machine (and coffee), kettler, stove and multi plugs. The apartment was spotless clean at our arrival, enough towels were provided and there is plenty of room to store belongings. Big balcony with nice view and a working elevator into the 6th floor. Air cleaner, humidifier, newest AC and a central ventilation system are installed. Even though it's close to a bigger street it is really quiet and we couldn't hear any neighbors at all. Communication with the hosts was easy, quick and always helpful. A great bonus were the bicycles that were provided and we used to explore the city and Sakurajima. One of the best places we stayed in our three months journey in Japan. We would gladly come back.

The hosts were terrific. The room had been carefully prepared with plenty of thought into utensils etc.

Very minor - place was a little hard to find, moreso because of the lack of signage. Please trust google maps- it was spot on. A picture of the building has been included to assist others

The place was clean. The pillows were fantastic. Location was good. Plenty of parking options available.

Not sure how the stove work, good to have a manual to show how it works.

I have been to many cities in Japan and stayed numerous places. This is the best place by far. Everything decoration and positioning of furnitures are well-thought out. Every amenities you need are here. We have 4 people in total and it’s more than enough. Not to mention, the price is magnificent. I will stay at this place again a next time I come to Kagoshima

Shower room probably needs more equipment to hang towers and clothes
