At the reception, we were notified of a stolen booking.com accomodation account that is currently held by a former emoloye (Police was notified about you, you diskhead). So they had no idea about us and the booked a paid room was occupied. Booking.com support seems to be unable to fix the issue. Kindly do it and don’t waste travellers time. It is embarassing.

My only lil bit, I'd have like a mosquito net, I had to wear bug cream while sleeping, not the end of the world and defo wouldn't stop me from going back tho

Location by the water is nice, nice sunsets. Concepcion town is tiny but there’s is a very homey feeling to it. Good place to escape the crowds.

It’s called divers lodge because pirate dive shop used to be next door… I’m guessing there were more people around then. Now there’s really no vibe to this place. There was almost no one around (in May) and the only person from the staff who really speaks English is the owner who for some reason doesn’t really speak to her guests. Food is ok at best. Service is rudimentary (I had to ask them to empty the toilet paper bin in the common bathroom which was overflowing). They also asked us for 600 pesos (10€) for one load of laundry. About the location : if you can’t drive a scooter you won’t really be able to go anywhere. Also make sure your schedule is flexible to get there/leave because the van service to coron town doesn’t run on a set time (it leaves when there are enough passengers). The public van is 250 pesos but if you need to arrange a private van it will be 2500 pesos (a tuktuk is 1500 pesos). No direct connection by public transport to the airport (if you don’t want to pay for a private transfer you’ll have to take a van to coron town and then another van to the airport). The property will not share this info with you so all of us travelers had trouble with that at one point or another.

Staff were very nice and helpful, hub of the local diving community. Nice village feel, and cosy bar/restaurant by a beach that's raked every morning. Some rooms have air con, if you like that.

Beds are extremely soft. Bathrooms could do with regular cleaning. It's seen better days generally speaking.

The location is calm and wonderful, direct on the ocean - the most beautiful sunsets from the bar! The staff is super friendly and always helpful. The rooms are simple but cozy and clean! The food is good and very affordable. I would come back for sure!! I was absolutely happy here! Had a great time. (The best option to get here, is to rent a scooter in Coron City and drive).

Next time I will stay longer. ;-)
