The property was newly renovated, was clean and nicely presented and had features such as a washing machine. The hosts were extremely friendly and hospitable.

The area of Giardini Naxos has a severe issue with toxic smells/ sewage. When we arrived the apartment smelt fine, by the afternoon the toxic smells started. From there forward the toxic smells / sewage came and went. By the third day of our stay the smell became completely unbearable and we would intentionally cover our nose and mouths to avoid feeling nauseous. A few days later after leaving our clothing that was washed at the apartment still smells of the toxic stench / sewage which would mean the water itself carried the smell. The water in this area is extremely toxic and we would recommend staying in Taormina to avoid this. The town needs to sort its infrastructure.

Amazing fancy apartments, super fresh and very close to the beach and main city’s spots. Land lord is extremely hospitable and caring, always in touch, welcoming you you with a fresh fruits and list of restaurants recos 😊 super pleasurable experience
