The most terrible stay in more than 40 years of my travel experience.

Our travel and communication experience with Resicence Casa Cavalese (Cavalese) is tragic. Realizing that we might not make it to Cavalese in time for check-in, we started arranging in advance to leave the key at an agreed location. We corresponded with Cavalese via the Booking system for two days, but they kept passing us from one employee to another, sending us phone numbers that didn't work, and when we did get through, no one answered. We contacted the Booking Help Center, but their employee's promise to contact Cavalese and inform us of the situation by phone remained unfulfilled. We had to explain everything again to a new Help Centre employee before we finally received a message from Cavalese saying that the problem had been solved and that the keys would be either in the apartment lock or under the doormat. That same evening, after arriving at Cavalese and checking the locks and doormats of 30 apartments, we found no keys, and no one answered Cavalese's phones or responded to messages. We contacted Booking three times, explaining each time that we couldn't find the keys in the agreed location, that we were outside in minus 4 degrees and couldn't get into our apartment. Meanwhile, the Help Centre staff repeated like robots that we had arrived after the reception's working hours, that they had contacted Cavalese representatives, who said that the keys had been given to us and that we had no obstacles to entering the apartment. There was no response from Cavalese, and I won't go into the further troubles and tragic "help" from the Booking Help Center, even though we spent half the night in the car waiting for the Cavalese reception to open in the morning. In the morning, the receptionist showed us that he had left the key to our apartment not in the lock or under the doormat, but in a trash can outside the reception desk, and he did not provide this information in correspondence with Booking.com, but sent it via WhatsApp.

- the phone number on booking.com is not working, I couldn't call the place and arrange the arrival conditions, if I arrived 5 minutes later the reception was closed - there is no microwave or kettle in the apartment - the electricity consumption is limited to 5 kW, i.e. it is not possible to use more than one hotplate on the stove - "bed linen" and towels are for an extra charge, I have never experienced that in an apartment in 25 years... - there was no dishcloth or dishwashing sponge in the apartment, so on the first day we first had to find everything we needed to live in the apartment

Quiet part of the town, apartment were clean and space enough.
