Sigiriya Kingdom Resort

The swimmingpool was ok, just short of sunbeds and parasols, So with more then 6 people there you couldnt sit or lay anywhere. The beds were ok, not to hard, not to soft. Staff did their best, think they struggled with keeping up, maybe also cause the language

Note to people who like a cocktail or glass of wine. This hotel serves no alcohol, just beer. Everything else was horrible, the pillows were flat, the room looked like it could do with a makeover 10 years ago. Things broken, moldy and dirty. To turn on the boiler, you had to stand on the toilet to turn on the switch and not forget to turn it of as it makes a hell of a noise when left on. We had to call someone cause we didnt get hot water, apparantly you could only get hot water out of one, dont know why the second one was there, water power was poor due to the limescale in the showerhead. The aircon was noisy. The 'restaurant' looked like a cheap cantine worn down, food took ages and lot of mistakes were made. Overall a very dissapointing experience. I can see most of reviews are good, so i made pictures of it. This place could be nice, but need a lot of work on it Ive got way more pictures then this. But can only place 4. Mould on walls and ceiling,, rotten door frame etc

Una gran experiencia. El hotel está muy cuidado, limpio y las instalaciones estan muy bien: la piscina, zona comedor y habitaciones. Lo mejor de todo es sin duda el personal: muy atento y servicial.

Nel complesso una struttura grande con piscina. Personale cordiale.

Camere non pulitissime, il bagno aveva un odore di fogna molto sgradevole. Asciugamani sporchi. A cena ci hanno servito per sbaglio il gelato, pensando fosse un regalo ho cominciato a mangiarlo e dopo una cucchiaiata mi è stato tolto, alla fine è rimasto sul tavolo dei camerieri e hanno preferito buttarlo che lasciarlo al tavolo. Cibo neanche buono.
