Khanaya Hotel Borobudur

Les staff est très gentil et serviable. Le resto excellent ! La piscine un plus agréable.

Les équipements sont assez vieillots et sales. Du même pour la literie. L'hôtel n'est pas loin (2 km) de l'entrée du temple de Borobudur mais il est très bruyant à cause de la circulation.

I REALLY wanted to love this place. Based on the online photos and reviews, we were super excited to stay here but upon check in, we quickly realised the vision of this hotel is seriously let down by its execution. We stayed in a standard bungalow room and the actual upstairs bedroom was awesome, very clean, great aircon and very comfortable mattress bed. Downstairs let it down. The open-air bathroom was incredibly run down and mouldy, I had to burn incense to try and hide the smell. The downstairs lounge room, while reasonably clean and nicely firnished, had no aircon and was basically unusable. The infinity pool, overlooking the river, was nice but needed cleaning, the steps in were slippery with moss.

The deal breaker though was basically no running water, we could not shower. Unfortunately we left after 1 night and had to walk away without a refund for the remaining two. The staff tried to help but with very limited english, we didn't get far. We considered an upgrade first but they wanted an exorbitant $500 AUD for 2 nights on top of the $140 we lost. Yeah, nope. The "premium" rooms smelt worse! Very disappointed.

It’s walking distance from Borobudur temple, it is really cute with the separate bungalows, so spacious the rooms are really big with lounge area and the bathroom is really nice. There’s a breakfast buffet not huge variety but can ask also the staff help they are all lovely! Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great when I was there but the swimming pool looks great and quiet, with a view.

Just the curtains were hanging, ripped from the top couldn’t close them completely, some minor tear and wear in the bedding too.

El hotel es pintoresco y el personal muy amable. Pero ahí acaba su encanto.

Está pésimamente ubicado. Rn las afueras de Borobudur, en plena carretera, con un riesgo evidente al caminar por la cuneta para ir a cualquier sitio., en medio de arrozales y un río. La cabaña o lodge, vieja, mal mantenida, sucia, desvencijada y plagada de hormigas, arañas e insectos. Imposible dormir entre tarta suciedad. Íbamos a estar 4 noches y tras la primera nos fuimos a otro hotel en Yogyakarta. Mejor ahorrate el dinero y no reserves aquí.

Cute and spacious tradition bungalows! Good bed, cute balconies. Good food! Very well located to go to the Borobudur temple.

Pretty late check-in. Staff when I arrived wouldn’t let me in the room, although the room was already ready.
