Dragon Parade Apartment

Clean and tidy. Comfortable and well furnished. Good central location. Good contact with the owner prior to arrival. Very quiet considering this was the top flat of 3 in a terraced house. Neighbours were very pleasant. Supply of tea coffee and milk for arrival very much appreciated.

There was no welcome pack of information about the apartment and locality or recommendations of places to eat and/or drink. There was no guest book for comments or recommendations from previous visitors. Whilst parking is not included in this letting, residents are allowed to park in the street with a permit issued by the local council. Non residents are only permitted to park for 3 hours during the day 9am to 6pm. on weekdays. We visited over the weekend so it was not an issue. Had we wanted to visit for longer, this situation would have detered us from staying at what was otherwise ideal accommodation.

potentially could benefit with something to put across the stairs for young children (only as we were travelling with a toddler so made it more difficult to relax and keep her safe)

Fab location, lovely spacious apartment and well appointed. Great value for money, would def recommend to friends and family Harrogate has lots to offer and this is just a short walk into town. Great comms form the owner.

Parking a bit tricky as the car park suggested was closed.

No sieve or colander to drain vegetables or rice

Heating was off but eventually solved that after much carry on. And steep Stairs! Flat not suitable for some with slight disability which was a struggle Had to share beds.After booking message came through to say we’d have to pay extra for 2 more guests. Didn’t notice and that would have added a huge amount to the bill making a hotel cheaper

All good, very nice apartment in a good location. Good value.

If you have people with mobility issues they may struggle with stairs and no banister.
