Berardino Holiday House

The home is on a beautiful property with a wonderful terrace and view. We were two people, my mother and I, and the house was incredibly comfortable. Exactly as advertised. Sara was also a wonderful host, helping us with multiple taxis and advice to make the most out of our trip. She was incredibly generous and we will remember our stay forever.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

This exquisite 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom Italian home is perfectly located with amazing views from the huge verandah. All amenities were provided and beds were very comfortable. Sara, our host was extremely helpful and communication with her and her lovely family made our stay stress-free. She was very flexible and allowed us to keep our luggage at the property after check out until we were ready to leave. A bowl of fruit, some bread and jam and drinks were also left for us at check in. We loved it so much we extended our stay.

Nothing we didn’t like.

Sara was great as a host and her communication was above and beyond. She was great at following up, helping us with quotes, and figuring out logistics. She also has the patience of a saint. I wish every host was like her. If she offers booking a shuttle for you, take her up on it. We had a great experience with Vincenzo getting us off the mountain and should have booked our outbound trip with her as well. It was an executive-level car for the two of us and couldn’t have been more comfortable. When we arrived, Sara had some Limoncello and figs from their backyard set up for us—what a treat! We had a fig with breakfast on the patio every morning and it was a highlight each time. Yum! The location within the main part of town is really convenient, yet it’s far enough away from the center that it’s quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the piazza.

The bed was incredibly hard, I’m not sure I’ve slept on a harder mattress before. We’d wake up multiple times a night, trying to get comfortable, but to no avail. The mini splits for the AC deactivate when you leave the apartment, which means that it’s super hot when you get home from a day exploring or a night out. It takes a good hour to get back down to a comfortable temperature, which is especially frustrating when it’s late and all you want is to just go to sleep. We were out of the house most of our time, so these two things reflect the majority of our experience at the house itself, unfortunately. Without them, it would have been a fantastic stay. Checkout required a bit of running back and forth between the main gate and the apartment so we wouldn’t be locked into the front yard after leaving the keys in the apartment, while the main gate was still locked shut.

We loved the location, views, comfort and we loved that the kitchen was stocked with limoncello, coffees, teas fresh cherries from the garden. The host was Sara who was so easy to communicate with and so so lovely.

The one toilet wasn't working but they had booked a plumber to fix it just after we were leaving so I'm sure it won't be an ongoing problem.

Very spacious and clean. Great location that’s steps from all to see in Ravello.

Very good view and outside space!

Villa Bernardino was absolutely fantastic, beautiful accommodation, location is ideal, everything accessible by foot, incredibly clean, spacious and had everything that we needed. Comfy beds, very quiet at night, good air con, fully equipped kitchen. 2 bedrooms with separate bathrooms was perfect for us as well as we were friends sharing the accommodation. The terrace is gorgeous with spectacular views to enjoy Ravello. Lovely little touches made us feel special fruit provided, limoncello, breakfast things and tea and coffee. The hosts however were absolutely incredible, fantastic hosts, so welcoming and warm, gave us lots of information about the area and recommendations, couldn’t do more for us, helped with the parking with the car and organise it for us in Italian and even took us there in their own car in the early morning to pick up our car again. Thank you so much we had a wonderful stay, we will definitely be back again to enjoy with family. Grazie Mille!
