Remote location- wonderful fireplace. Engaging, friendly staff.

When occupants next door checked in 2nd day, was distracting hearing their conversations & tv through the walll. Would have been great to have a tv in the bedroom too.

Nice and cozy. Real fireplace. Everything you need for nice getaway.

Bed was very hard. Couch wasn't very comfortable

Loved the cabin and how cozy it was. I brought my Xbox and was able to play some games. Had incredible meals and just an incredible view.

The fireplace has a gap between us and some other couple that showed. The other couple ended up leaving the TV on all night and we could hear it even from the bedroom with a fan on. To the credit provided later, the couple apparently trashed the place so were that extra "special" kinda jerks. I would wager they are not allowed back because of that because the place itself along with staff were incredible to us.

The views were absolutely beautiful! This location is located right by the state park and was such a fun trip for our family. We ended up staying an extra night because we didn’t want to leave. It was the getaway that my family needed and we will be coming back every year!

Easy to get to and very clean. Lovely backdrop was the mountains themselves.

No stove. Only a microwave. Even a hot plate would have sufficed.

Loved the wood burning fireplace! King bed and pillows were very comfortable. Place has most everything you could want. Views were great and the living room furniture was very comfortable.

Carpet looks like it needs to be replaced, or at least cleaned. There were no toiletries like soap and lotion in the bathroom when we arrived. Staff must be very minimal since the front desk guy was gone all day when we needed things. Fortunately, it wasn't urgent. We called the after hours number and it got promptly answered and our needs were taken care of. The addition of basic spices in the kitchen would be nice.

I loved that I had a single cabin to myself with a bundle of wood and a fireplace

Fireplace seemed to not be breathing properly. The smell filled my room and scented my clothes that were in the other bedroom. The WiFi was also shakey and not reliable

The gentleman at the desk around 5:45 p.m. who helped me check in was extremely professional and polite. The cabin (I stayed in cabin 1) was beautiful and clean. I brought my husband here for his birthday because he loves getting out in nature, and this was perfect. He was thrilled when he saw the cabin. We especially enjoyed the atmosphere, the recliners, and the super comfortable bed. The pillows are super fluffy. The jetted tub and the kuerig were my personal favorites.

I had initially booked cabin 12 online on Monday and when I arrived Friday, it had been given to someone else. I was momentarily devastated because we had driven so far to get here, but the gentleman at the desk offered us cabin 1 instead and was very apologetic. Whoever was working the desk around 3 had mixed up the paperwork. I'm very glad it worked out and would still recommend this lodge.

The cabin was so cozy and nice. Had a working fire place, porch and everything you need to cook a meal. Absolutely loved it. Oh and was dog friendly and very reasonable.
