Casa Barcaia Montalcino

Very authentic, close to everything. Owner helpful.

That I don't speak enough Italian to understand the parking directions for easy access. Also the day we arrived there was a bicycle race and there was only a few spaces available.

It was cute, the main bathroom was nice, bright and big and the beds were comfy. We also liked that it had a washing machine. We enjoyed the welcome wine - very very nice.

The main living area was a bit small and dark for our liking. We also wish there was a coffee machine and shampoo.

Casa Barcaia was a perfect base in Montalcino for our family of 4 - cosy, central, comfortable beds, great bathroom. We appreciated the lovely bottle of red too! Loved our stay...thank you!!

It was as depicted in the pictures and it was well appointed with all amenities described

The host was very rude and looked to gauge guests - she would not give instructions on how to open the sofa bed and wanted to charge $30 Euros to do so -

Everything!!! The location is right in the center of Montalcino on a main street of the city, the reality is better than the photos on booking , the house is very spacious and charming. Coffee shop and restaurants nearby. Free parking available 5 min walk of the location! Everything was great !

The downside is that the location doesn’t have air conditioning but we didn’t suffer!
